Dr. Jaclyn Bonder, medical director of Women's Health Rehabilitation at Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, says "not only is it absolutely safe to exercsie during pregnancy, physical activity has been shown to benefit most women." According to Brides.com's article "7 Prenatal Workouts For Pregnant Women," 20-30 minutes of exercise a day is recommended by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
